Eric,
I have been having the same problems.
I am running the Intel-NT version, and have been having many problems. At
one point, just looking
at a directory on the "P" drive would cause my system to crash, with all
sorts of hexidecimal messages
and also english warnings.
I haven't had the problem with the PVR not putting up its window, but I do
get weird messages like:
"And now a word from our driver: Body Table Mangled"
or
"DdRBUILDPLAYOBJECT failed"
This is damn weird, as I had no problem under version 2.0
Also, my problem started when I tried to write to the PVR drive with Elastic
Reality, so my problem could
be due to the HIIP screw ups.
Also, when I format the PVR drive, it seems to complete it in about 2
seconds!! Weird.
Drop me a line, & we can commmiserate together (or plan an attack strategy
against DPS!)
